The issue has been reported in the dedicated forum thread several months ago, but unfortunately, it remains unresolved and currently makes the game completely unplayable....

Sorry to dig up a 2017 topic, but an important point to note is that the player making this move is putting himself in trouble because his remaining opponent will have two colors and so more chance to win.
It is therefore not at all a strategic move.

I do not advise you to learn the rules of Le Havre, nor to visit Le Havre.
You should not have to inflict either of them on yourself.
