Thank you for the insight. I agree, it seems like, especially in tournament play, the player with the most time overage should be the player that loses.

Can someone explain to me how I lost this tournament game: https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=256773126 I was in the lead, with negative 26 minutes, while another player had negative 6 1/2 hours. I get expelled from the game for time and the guy with negative 6 1/2 hours goes on in the tournament?
