Re: Cheating

Let’s look at the objective rules. Board Game Arena’s official moderation policy explicitly states that multi-accounting or colluding to cheat the Arena ranking system is a direct violation of the rules. You can't claim to stand for the 'spirit of sportsmanship' and objective rules while simultaneou...

Re: Cheating

Allowing a fraudulent result to stand sets a dangerous precedent. It tells the community that as long as you don't get caught during the match, your stolen ELO or Arena points are safe. This undermines the integrity of the entire leaderboard. Board Game Arena’s moderation policy specifically allows ...

Re: The moderation rules are ridiculous

You are telling other people to grow up and not get upset. True maturity means having the emotional regulation to express frustration or disagree without resorting to childish namecalling. If you lack the self-control to follow basic community guidelines, you deserve the 10-day ban and the karma pen...

Re: Cheating

Accepting a fraudulent result as truth is gaslighting the entire community. Choosing to honor a fraudulent result just because it's easier than investigating it isn't "good sportsmanship" it’s a surrender of competitive integrity.

Re: Cheating

Comparing digital fraud to a referee missing a split-second field call is a logical fallacy. Board Game Arena isn't a stadium with a whistle, it's a digital platform with an immutable data log. When the Olympics or the World Chess Federation uncovers doping or engine-use after a tournament, they don...

Re: Cheating

It’s frustrating to hear that trying to fix a stolen win is anti-sportsmanship. What's actually anti-sportsmanship is a platform that lets cheaters keep titles because its support system is a black box. If I could have tracked my report or gotten a simple automated receipt, I wouldn't have needed to...

Re: Cheating

I definitely got the moderators attention with that locked thread. It feels like BGA is quicker to crack down and punish players for talking about or calling out the cheating profiles than they are to penalize the actual cheating itself.

Re: Arena champion

Very clever crocodile, shift the focus to a random table delay on the final night. It doesn't change the fact that the three of you were actively colluding and coordinating to control 3 out of 4 seats at Spades tables to manipulate the arena. Trying to deflect with 'whataboutism' won't erase your ma...
