Re: Deletion of friendly tournament?

Every player has to withdraw. The tournament creator can't change a single thing once it starts. And, once at least one person signs-up, the only thing the creator can change is cancelling the entire tournament - before it starts. As the minimum players per game that you set is '4', then I would gue...

Re: How to you handle a player that won't play correctly and tries to disrupt the game

Is there an "embargo" option in Catan? I.e., an option to auto-reject all trades proposed by a player? That would prevent them from wasting time. How does it work when playing the game in real life? What is the mechanism that ensures a player can't stall the game forever? Mimicking that i...

Re: Opponent withdrew in a "no kick option" tournament, What to do?

Post a link to the tournament and game if you want people to troubleshoot. Why do we need a link to answer a general question? Also, the site doesn’t want us to call out players, which linking a game indirectly does. No player is being 'called out'. Withdrawing from a game is a perfectly normal reg...

Re: How to you handle a player that won't play correctly and tries to disrupt the game

1. This game? https://boardgamearena.com/table?table=870810871 - this is not a tournament game. It's an arena game. 2. You quit 34 minutes into a game, when the scores were 5-4-2. That's not too abnormal a time to reach that point in a game of Catan. 3. It was a turn-based game. 3 moves a day. It w...

If you've already been eliminated, then you can't withdraw. The tournament will end when it's fully finished.

To avoid this, only join tournaments that have skipping disabled, or elimination tournaments that only eliminate 1 player per game.

Re: joined a tournament, ended up in 13 games at one time

Round Robin on BGA generally always means that the round is played all at once.

If you post a direct URL link to the tournament you're referring to, it makes it a lot easier for people to assist you.

I have my answer

I just don't understand why it's not possible...
Why on earth should the tournament host be able to choose to end a tournament that's already started and people willingly signed up to, just because they feel like it?
