Re: Can anyone explain what happened? Player expelled, but when and by whom?

I'm wondering about that - I was expelled from a Space Base game for not playing fast enough. No warning, no chance to comment - just BOOM! A 10% reputation hit. How do I send an apology to the others? I don't know who initiated it. What games have expectations of quick (essentially. live) play? Th...

Re: Can anyone explain what happened? Player expelled, but when and by whom?

What I observed and described does not make sense regardless of who expelled that player. Can you clarify this part? From looking at the replay things do seem to make sense, at least to me, if you had kicked the player. Yellow was already 17 hours in the red on the 28th April The log says that you ...

Re: Can anyone explain what happened? Player expelled, but when and by whom?

Since you refuse to accept that you expelled SarahDG307 [...] This is a bizarre comment, since you're implying that if only we accept that I expelled that player, that would all of this make sense and there would be no bug. I already explained in detail why that's not true. What I observed and desc...

Re: Can anyone explain what happened? Player expelled, but when and by whom?

I don't know how to be sure, but I don't remember ever seeing them have more than 35 hours of playing time. If they'd used a joker they'd have shown a few days playing time remaining. Regardless, how would that explain what the game showed here? How would them using a time joker cause this to make ...

Re: Can anyone explain what happened? Player expelled, but when and by whom?

You're not sure whether it was you or the third player who expelled the player out of time? I can't be sure. I definitely did not remember expelling them, and I think if I had I would've noted in in my notes on that user, since that's what I usually do. So, I don't believe I expelled them ... but t...

Re: Can anyone explain what happened? Player expelled, but when and by whom?

I'm still confused by this, and still hoping there's anyone here who can either explain what might have happened, to know how to tag someone from BGA.

Re: Games you wish were more popular

Photosynthesis is one of my very favorite games and I play it all the time. However, it sometimes takes more than a day for a new table (turn based) to fill, so I do wish more people on BGA played it turn based. (I don't know if it has a lot of players real time because I never play real time)

Re: The Best of Both Worlds: What BGA does better?

It's very useful to learn a game here, because the software prevents you from doing things the rules don't allow, and guides you to see what is possible. Sometimes when people learn new games from the physical box, they misunderstand some of the rules or scoring, and nobody notices until some time i...

Re: The allotted time is too long.

I personally find it very very annoying that a lot of people on the forums treat BGA as a competition and assume everyone else does. I certainly don't, and I think the things those people recommend or argue for to serve competitive interests can sometimes be detrimental. I don't think we have any re...

Re: Keeping card for the next rund.

Another major rule violation is that you are supposed to be able to use unused travel icons which has been recognized but I think it might be rather hard to code with how they have things set up. Can you explain what this means? When using cards or assistants with double travel icons but you only u...
