If you start your game from the Play Now page, you can click the cog and the very first setting you can adjust is about opponent level, and you can tell it you prefer similar level to yours.

You might need to be able to do this to ensure you don't have multiple dice un-used when trying to combine two other for a specific total.

Unused dice don't matter. You don't have to use them up, you can just end your turn.

I can't for the life of me see what I would want AI for in general, and I cannot possibly fathom why I would want to have it here. As a fake opponent? No thank you. That would be me leaving a site I have otherwise been enjoying for years.

Maybe someone else at the table previously gave them a red thumb?
