That link has the FoD rules in French and German but not in English unfortunately.

However this was still a useful tip because it made me think to look at the French rules and that had pictures of all the map features which allowed me to put 2 and 2 together. Thanks.

If I could wish for an improvement to the scoring, it would actually be for it to go more quickly to be honest. Perhaps simultaneously showing all the road points, then all the city points etc would help people who want it to be easier to see but I'd be happy with it just going faster. Regarding how...

When you are creating a game you get to set the rules via a bunch of drop downs. For Carcassonne you can pick each expansion and set Yes, No or Tiles Only.
