hanabi without chat

Post by JSnova »

With hanabi you are only aloud to say color and number, still people tell entire stories and even what cards are in chat, can we just turn it off

as it's a silent game, it shouldn't be turn on

You can report players who cheat using chat. I have found it can be used carefully for teaching (which has been of huge use to me while I've been learning).

Not everybody want to play this game with maximum difficulty. Chatting about cards helps teaching and improving during the first games. Be carefull with who you choose to play with and you'll be fine.

I never played Hanabi, so I don't know how it goes.

People can talk, but if it goes too far and leans toward cheating, you can ask them not to discuss such matters, or report them.
People who are unfamiliar with the game can be aided a bit.

It's up to you to decide whether the talk is malicious or not.
