Hidden Gems

Hey peeps. I've played a bunch of games on here and stumbled upon some less popular, but pretty cool games.

So... I'm just curious as to which games you believe deserve more love.

10 of my less-renowned faves are:

Difficult to know how to describe 'lesser-known'.

Abstract games, I would opt for: NXS, Murus Gallicus, Veletas, Logger, Blooms, The battle of LITS.

BIgger board games, perhaps not really lesser-known, but Innovation and Lewis & Clark are my 2 favourite games on the site regardless.

I also agree with Outlaws: Last Man Standing. It's not my cup of tea, but thought it was a really good balance of bluff and skill, and has very high tension.

Battle of Lits and Dungeon Twister, definitely. O yes, and Tash-Kalar. Discovered that one recently, it's awesome.

My favourite less popular game is Butterfly.

It seems very simple - just move a piece and take a tile each turn, game ends when no legal move to take a tile is possible.

However, as you play it you realise there is actually a lot of strategy to it.

Nautilus is an easy 2p card-game which is very interesting and for some reason only few people play/tried it.

Check out the Allround-League: https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=7870115 --> a league where you have matches of random games vs. other players in your group. Season 9 registration oct. '25.

Yes, that is a great little game! It might be misinterpreted for its cute design - it looks like a game for kindergarten age, but is not!

It didn't have german rules, so I translated them to make it more popular on BGA
