Are tutorials translatable? (at this moment)

Post by Woodruff »

Hello!

I guess I already have the answer, and surmise the feature is not available at this moment.
But did I miss something reguarding the possibility to translate tutorials from English to mother tongue?
Thanks, take care :)

Were you thinking of a particular game? There are strings that appear on the translation tool with "Context: tutorial", mixed with the normal game content. But I suppose they're only available after the tutorial is published, same as the game.

Yes, but the problem is: There are a lot of tutorials still in alpha or beta: https://boardgamearena.com/tutoriallist ... n=allgames, so they can't be translated.

In the FAQ https://boardgamearena.com/faq?anchor=faq_tutorials I read, that the developers or BGA admins can upgrade the tutorials to beta and later to official. They just seem not to do so, so we can't progress. Are there any defined rules what is necessary for this upgrade (more than just "good statistics")? Couldn't this be done automatically, e. g. a tutorial with at least 20 ratings with an average of 4 or more is upgraded automatically from alpha to beta?

I think it is a pity that I couldn't find a proper description of this process.

Hi,
I notice in fact translations were available indeed (game Innovation).
But some peoplealready proposed a translation and the newly chains were place after golden translated stuff, somehow. So I missed them :)
