Group stage elimination but I don't know why

Hi guys, I hope someone can clear this for me!

I've played a group stage where the top 2 advance to the next stage and I've finished 3rd. So I get why I'm not advancing, but what I don't get is why I've finished 3rd and not 1st or 2nd, since the top 3 has the same amount of points and the mutual results of us is that we all lost 1 game and won 1 game against eachother.
This makes it feel unfair since I'm the one missing out. Maybe there is a good explanation so I hope someone can tell me the reason.

Never mind, I've found out why! For other people who might want to know why for their own games: If you open the details (hit the plus sign) you can see the difference in points from all the games. My total points is lower compared to the other two and that is the criteria to advance.
