Penalty for Withdrawing from Tournament

Hi All,

Could someone explain the penalties for withdrawing from a tournament?

I'm currently playing a swiss style tournament and one of the players is constantly behind. I've talked to them in the chat and when prompted they make an effort to be online but the last 5 matches now have ended with them being skipped or timeouts. Their timezone is 8 hours ahead of the tournament timezone, which I think it the issue. I've sent a chat asking them to consider withdrawing if they can't play and if they won't withdraw I'll likely withdraw myself. But I wanted to check the penalties for doing so first.

you lost 4 karma point if you withdrawn an tournament and you have to finish on going match.

Ok, so basically, you do not automatically lose your match ?
Looks like the best option I have to quit a tournament I "mistakenly" joined
In fact, games rules just don't match what was displayed, since BGA still allows to create Kingdomino tournament with "The mighty duel" enabled for 3/4 player games, f*** that.

4 karma is more than OK for a chance to avoid a random (and boring) lose.
