What's the best way to find out a new expansion is available

What's the best way to learn about the expansions are coming out for a game that's already been on BGA? Specifically for games that have been out for a while? New games show up in the game list, but expansions don't. Just monitor the Alpha forums?

Go to BGG and subscribe to your game of choice.

well, that would fill my feed up with news on the game that I don't care about. I just want to to know if bga added an expansion to 7 wonders or Teotuican, Res Arcana, etc. I would be okay if it was all expansions, even games I haven't played.

There's no official rule about it, but I think most developers will communicate about it on the game players group, so you shall see it in the newsfeed when you played at least a table of this game.
