Configurable Tie Breaker for Swiss and Round Robin Tournament

I suggest adding Tie Breakers for Swiss and Round Robin Tournament, making it configurable.

I agree with head to head to solve the ties in Round Robin tournaments as the first option, but not on swiss systems. This is because 2 reasons:

1) Most of the times you have more than 2 tied players, sometimes 8, 10 or whatever. And for sure that they didn't play all against each other, so the head to head will not work in most of situations.

2) The reason for using head to head on round robin tournaments is because on the tournament all players played against each other and their opponents all had the same points, so they cannot be sorted by the strength of their opponents. But in the case of swiss system, they most likely played with opponents with different strengths, so the player that played with stronger opponents had harder games, so should finish first, IMO.

For those who have no idea what a tie breaker is in using BGA's Swiss system to organise their tournament. Take 2-player tournament as an example, for each player, the system gives him 1 points for every win, 0.5 points for every draw and 0 points for every loss. So players may tie if they score the same number of points.

Here comes the tie-breaking criteria, that is, how to distinguish the tied players and rank them in a certain order according to some criteria.

Tie-breaking criteria is imposed in most competitions, for example FIFA World Cup, and UEFA Champions League.

But, originated in chess, there are actually a large variety of tie-breakers that have been proposed in swiss tournaments, see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tie-break ... ournaments , there may be others in round-robin as well.

So I think it would be necessary if BGA can make them available for tournament administrators to choose the best one according to the actual situation of the tournament.
