Just had a RL life quit the site after an hour

Post by raginrajin »

"I have to be a premium member to play this game."

I said: Oh no, just to create a table. We can still join one.

"I can't join a table for 24 hours. I gotta say, I'm annoyed by this site. Again I'm being blocked because I don't have enough coins or whatever. "

And he left.

I did the sales job for you. I did the customer support for you. Your own system cost you several customers.

Are they actually *customers* if they're not paying for premium?

Everyone these days seems to want something for nothjng.

bGA does a great job and is well worth the premium cost - just pay it and those issues disappear

Also, the limitations are relatively minor if a friend has premium... I have premium, but my brother doesn't. So if there's a premium game he wants to play, I create the table and invite him.

Honestly, there are a host of games that don't require premium, and if you want to play the premium games, for most people the fee for premium isn't much, and a solid chunk of the money goes to the companies that put their blood sweat tears and money into developing them.

Unfortunately we live in an age of entitlement where people expect to be able to do anything online for free... I know I get irked when a news site wants me to pay to read articles, while I didn't bat an eye about subscribing to magazines and newspapers when I was younger...

I don't know what they expected from the site, and it's unfortunate that they miss out on a great service light on ads and costs little to nothing to use.
