I'm seeing more and more publishers, and BGA developpers, adding a solo mode on their games.
Currently, to play a solo game, you have follow these steps:
- Go to the Play Now link at the top of the screen set the three options at the top to Simple Game, Real-Time or Turn-based, and Manual
- Find the game you wish to play and create a new table
- Change the Game mode in the left side to "Training Mode"
- Change "Number of players" to 1
- Click "Open table to other players", then click "Start Game".
Not very surprisingly, there is some forum questions on how to start a solo game. And when you want to play the same game in multiplayer, you have to revert all those settings.
I think it would be a nice addition to have a new menu item like this:
and when you select it, it shows only gamee with a solo mode, and when you click "Play now", it automatically creates and start a table for 1 player in training mode.
The message above the games reminds the list is filtered.
Suggested games under Favorite games would also suggest games with solo mode only.
