Soft hyphen

Post by fruktansvärt »

So in languages with a lot of compound words (German, Swedish, etc), you often get really long words, which may not fit the graphics in a game. Can you use soft hyphens here on BGA?

Well,

Code: Select all

seems to work.
But when the phrase is viewed again on the translation page, #173 will seem to have disappeared (it is still visible in the translation history).
If you change the phrase again, #173 will disappear.

I'd stay away from using (code) symbols that aren't easily understood by every translator.

Can you not just hyphenate overly long words? In Dutch this is allowed and sometimes even recommended to improve readability.
