Hello u-topia,
this time I have checked your tutorial on CONCEPT
https://boardgamearena.com/tutorial?gam ... torial=348
I found some things which seem obvious if you know the game, but might be not if you are new to it:
In your first example (crow) you ask: „What comes to your mind if you see these 3 symbols?“
It could perhaps be more helpful if you ask: „What comes to your mind if you combine these 3 symbols (animal, flying, black)?“
(as you do later to describe the helicopter… You might also refer to the tooltips here.)
When you explain the "main concept pawn", it could be useful to mention that it has the shape of a question mark.
You give some good examples to get familiar with the concept of Concept
I like very much that you emphasize the difference between main and sub concepts. This is crucial!
At one point you explain how to "give up". I think it is important to make clear this is not meant like "giving up" in any other game on BGA (which you can choose by the three horizontal lines (= hamburger menu) on the top right), but the "give up" button in the title bar.
I had some issues with the position of things on the screen:
- "Enter your guess" - not in the right position, it points to the package on my screen. Maybe better use a coloured frame (in addition) for this and the following?
- "If you want to remove the pawn/cube, click on the trash symbol." - You could add here: "This is found at the right side" - frame?
- "Click foot symbol" (on my screen it points to the zero) - frame?
- "Guesses on the left" - frame?
(- But the position is good for "sports" on my screen - frame?)
Thank you again for one of your valuable tutorials! I am sure people will apreciate it
