Help! How to cancel a game accidentally started with multiple people!

Hi everyone - I've accidentally started a game with a friend and about 3 other random people when it was supposed to be 2 of us. It's now an official non training game with 35hrs per turn! How do I cancel this so I dont induce death by Cubirds in everyone?? thanks

You can explain the situation and propose to abandon the game (top right menu). If everyone agrees, it's canceled as if it has never started. If someone doesn't agree, you'll have to play. Or quit and take the hit on reputation and elo.

And in the future, you can reduce the player count and restrict game access to your friends list.
