Promotion of lesser-played games

I have noticed on occasion that BGA promotes lesser played games by moving them to the top of some of the recommendation lists (areas usually reserved for those games that are truly popular and deserving of such recognition). Wouldn't it be more genuine to rotate the lesser-played games through a category like "Games for you to try", instead of falsely claiming they belong in the "Most popular games" list? I'm all for promoting the underdogs and giving them a chance, I just think it comes across as silly that BGA would lie about their status to entice people to play.

I always thought this was just a bug of some sort.
