Peak ELO displayed for each game

Hi all,

I think it would be nice to see the peak ELO displayed together with your current ELO in the player profile overview.

This would stimulate people to always play a bit more instead of park at a given ELO for fear of losing points.

It's better to not obsess about your ELO ranking. To maximize your ELO you have to do antisocial things, like refusing to play people with a much lower ranking. (In some games, a player with basic competence will win 25% of the time due to luck or accidental kingmaking. If you play such a game against someone with an ELO more than 100-200 points lower, you'll be losing rating points.)

To avoid people "parking" on a high ELO rating, a better method is that you stop showing up on the leaderboards if you haven't played for 3 months.

It's up to everyone to be or not to be obsessed about ELO. And it's up to everyone to choose to play or not to play in ways to maximize it. There is also no need to pull stuff like kingmaking and luck in this discussion.

That's all beside my point.

I'm just saying that we have a nice system with rankings and stats and I think it would be cool if we could see also the peak ELO next to the current one or at least somewhere. The graph in the stats is not accurate at all and often I don't know what my peak ELO for a given game is. ​
As a bonus, I think that this could encourage some players who have certain behaviors, to play more. There are obviously many other (and probably better) ways to achieve that but it's not the main point.
