Suppose that the text of a card in the physical board game is unclear or badly translated, does BGA have to use the text from the physical board game or is it OK to change it?
In particular, I'm talking about Seasons, which was originally made in French. The English version is a translation and there are a few mistakes. One example which is obvious even for players who don't know the game:
- FR: À chaque fois que le marqueur Saison avance de 3 cases ou plus, recevez 4 cristaux ou 1 énergie
- EN: Whenever the Season marker moves forward by 3 or more spaces during a round, receive 4 crystals or 1 energy
The English translation has this added text "during a round" which seems to indicate that the effect can only be used once during a round (which is not the case). So I'd rather remove this text in BGA. I can't remove it on the art, but at least I could remove it on the tooltip.
Another example is Potion of the Ancients which has the word "crystallize" which should have been "transmute".
