Can BGA moderators please provide a viable form of contact. I am reading a forum post a few days ago where someone was upset about their name change that was supposedly political and took to forums to inquire about it. The moderator locked the forum and said that if he wanted to dispute a moderation, this is not the proper avenue to do so and that their contact info is in the moderation notification.
Fair enough. But how on earth are we to contact an unmanned email address for disputes. Sometimes people are actually getting moderated for quite ridiculous things and when you try to email the contact email, they just ignore your inquiries. Why is this a thing? Is the contact email just to quiet people down or is it actually meant for legitimate disputes?
Not only that. I have tried to contact BGA on both facebook and Twitter, not even about moderations but about other inquiries and they give you an automated message saying they would get back to you. I definitely understand these people are probably busy with other request, but I do find that lack of acknowledgement to be very discouraging. Can BGA maybe get some type of PR team to acknowledges people's concerns rather than just ignore everyone completely. I think that would be very helpful.
