Visual indicator and/or filter for games without a win

Post by slantz76 »

BGA offers a small incentive (XP and 'gift points') for the first win of a given game. It's also a meaningful distinction for a class of player -- those that are looking to sample various games, expand the games they're qualified to teach in real life, etc. Goals like this encourage people to engage with the product more (BGA in this case), which leads to more active players and more evangelism. It also is in BGA and the community's best interest to encourage players to tray as many games as possible, as it gets more people playing more games and lesser-played games get attention too.

But I haven't found a clear way for me to do this. As a brand new player, it was very easy for me to mentally keep track of which games I'd racked up a win in. But as I play more, it quickly becomes infeasible for me to remember this.

To help all with this, I have 2 suggestions, but there may be other good ideas too:
* A small visual indicator somewhere surrounding a game in various contexts that designates whether the player has achieved a win in that game or not. (Potentially similar to Premium and BETA/ALPHA badges.) If this is distracting for some, perhaps it could be disabled in the options menu.
* A section on https://boardgamearena.com/gamelist. There is currently a section for played/unplayed. But "Games you haven't won at yet" is more meaningful for me than "Games you haven't played yet"
