Besides, she was feeding me false info, like if I accept the draw, I’d still win, since I was in the lead.. which a new player might fall for….
As i said before - most games do not have the option to offer a draw. So if this option is new to you because you have only played games so far that do not have this option, you might not know what it means ;). No matter how many other games you played. I think you're trying to see bad intent where there wasn't.
Check out the Allround-League: https://boardgamearena.com/group?id=7870115 --> a league where you have matches of random games vs. other players in your group. Season 9 registration oct. '25.

You might be right, but this wasn’t the first time I encountered this kind of behaviour, plus I had given both heads up and explanation what a draw is, and why I will not agree to it way before this turned sour… I must assume someone does at least understand the language well enough if he plays and claims to speak English.

Be it as it may, the seed of doubt is exactly what these people count on. Besides, she knew exactly that she will be loosing if she quit the way I suggested and still pushed for sharing points while she had no right to demand it. In best case this was a lesson she should have neared a lot earlier in life that loosing a game does not mean you take away any gain, and in worst case this was all accounted for an part of a very unhealthy attitude towards what is due and right.
