A FEAST FOR ODIN: Ooooooooorm ?!

If there is a game from Uwe Rosenberg that made people talk a lot about it, it surely is A Feast For Odin.

The flexibility of strategies, multitude of options, development of skills, the polyomino puzzling problem, and more contribute to the reasons this game won 9 prestigious awards (against the world’s most demanding games).
Or is it the SOLO mode?

Let's dive into it a bit:
In A Feast For Odin, you take on the role of a group of Vikings as they work to increase their holdings and prestige. This is accomplished through raiding and pillaging, exploration, animal husbandry, and trading. Each turn, the players are provided with a set of limited actions to choose from. But once an action has been taken, it is no longer available for use. People that have played any of Uwe Rosenberg’s past games (Agricola or Caverna for example) will find this to be very familiar. In order to emerge victorious as the most powerful Viking, it is going to take efficiency, planning, strategy, and a little bit of luck.

There is so much to do that we simply can not write it all in here. But it is a must-try. Mostly to form your own opinion about what is a masterpiece for some, and a headache for others.
You can think that you might be overwhelmed by the monster of choices that are inside this game, but we assure you that you can relax: it is way more easy to pick up this game on BGA, due to the fantastic work that was done by our developer, Archduke, on this gem. And he worked hard! Send some love to him, it is well deserved...

You can get your hands on the game by clicking that link that the sea tooketh:

Also, if you're brave enough, don't forget that you can create a tutorial for other players to learn and join your next games. We are not lacking in players, with close to 2000 tables already started, but you know: the more people there are, the better the party.

We want to thanks a lot, of course, the original publisher, Feuerland, that made this possible. Kudos to their fantastic publishing team!

And now that's a big game for you to discover.
Don't forget that "It's Not About The Size Of The Boat, But The Motion Of The Ocean".
You will survive. And make Norheim great again!

**Any references to Norsemen are purely coincidental.**
Take care, and see you next week!

Great game which I got to try here on BGA! Had to buy it, obviously. Keep up the great work!
As with other games here, expansions would be nice ;)

This development really has been a lot of work on the part of Archduke, and the amount of polish applied throughout is really apparent. This game is a top five of all time for me now, and I learned how to play it thanks to this implementation.

Thank you so much for your hard work getting one of my very favourite games up on BGA, so I could teach some of my friends and spread the joy. Fantastic implementation even on mobile browser. Thank you Feuerland for allowing it too! At least one friend has already bought a copy and is hunting expansions and promos now!

Outstanding work, and thanks for your endless patience and enhancements, mobile and otherwise, throughout develpment!

Does anyone else have this issue on the Android BGA app? All my shed/house images are stretched on the purchase menu, for some reason.

Thanks for this great adaptation and providing this!

It really plays well!

And remember, the Vikings came from both Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Russia etc. Not only Norway. ;)
