Which options to choose for regular gaming experience (2007 version)

Post by Affensohn »

As much as I love this site, the options' descriptions for new sessions could be improved in many cases.
I'd like an indicator what options stand for the regular gaming experience from the rulebook.

In this case, I wonder:

Is competitve level = beginner the family version? Should be indicated.
What are additional "Aktionsfelder" / actions? Is this just a variant from the 2017 version?
What are C&D cards?
Which draft mode is the one suggested in the rules of the 2007 version? Should be indicated.
What is "Live-Wertung" / live evaluation (?), where is it described?

Thank you very much for your help.

The game here is the digital adaptation of the revised edition.
All the options are already explained with a sentence when you select them in the table lobby, for instance when you select "beginner", it's written "no hand card" below. Additional action spaces variant is clearly explained in the revised edition rulebook, as well as the different draft modes.
Live scoring just means your score will be computed live instead of computed only at the end of the game.

Thank you for your quick help, I didn't know that it's based on Revised Edition. But I would hope that one could include options for playing the original and for indicating these. Will play without draft for a start.

No it won't. Publisher wants revised edition (for pretty obvious reason), no further discussion possible on that topic with Lookout.
