Can't connect to website without VPN

I have been able to access boardgamearena.com for months, but today the connection timed out regardless of which browser or device I used - multiple pc's, ipad and phone - all of which could access BGA previously.

I have found that I can connect if I use a VPN, but I can't connect without. This only started happening to me today and prior to that I could connect fine without a VPN.

Has something changed on the BGA side?

And the same problem with those same devices on a different network?
Has something changed on your network? Maybe someone in your household is blocking BGA?

only other network I can try which doesn't us my home internet is mobile data on my phone - same problem. can't connect...

and this morning, it all works again.
