But you do realize the issue is mostly with licensing right ??
I do a little, but I don’t know the ins and out of it. I can always dream lol

Here are some i would LOOOOOOVE to see! And yes, i am aware that this is largely wishful thinking hahaha

Le havre
Naga raja (just tried this game out today and liked it a lot!)
Rococo (original version bc i loved that art more than the new)
Zhanguo

But most of all the game i would love to see most implemented is Five Tribes!

But why in this subforum ?? This has nothing to do with alpha
In fairness, if a new game is added it likely will go through an alpha, so I don't know that there is "nothing" connecting the two topics. :D

More seriously, I agree that the tendency of some users to post meandering and not-entirely-related threads in the BGA forums is a bit silly. But it also is reflective of the fact that BGA handles new releases in a rather mysterious fashion. Many of the releases are created by volunteers, and a lot of the licensing has been changing since the Asmodee purchase.

So BGA could simply have an employee post an official list of the Top 100 games on BGG and why each one is not on BGA (e.g. no volunteer developer, publisher refused to grant license, etc.) and then enthusiasts could consult that if they have a question about the game. But BGA chooses not to do that, and just leave things rather ambiguous as to the status of licensing consent for each game. That, combined with the frequent private alpha groups, makes these sort of curious forum posts very likely to pop up from time to time.

That would require a tremendeous amount of work and people will always ask "game X is not in the top 100 list, but what is the status for this one ???", So it wouldn't even solve this issue....

Sometimes, it's wiser not to mention that a game license has been refused.
Sometimes, publisher or game designer prefer to play the game first before any official release...
There is no ambiguous stuff. That's how business work.

2nd for Amun Re.

It has been missed dearly since it was pulled elsewhere years ago.

Very happy we are getting a good instance of Tigris and Euphrates back online. (The App Knizia initally released was not great)

There is one, but it is not a public list.
