I totally disagree with this. It is like being so indifferent or whatever, that you let a serial killer use your services (knowing that player killed a bunch of innocent lives).
In my opinion, this volatile diplomacy needs to drop, sometimes.

While I do agree with some of your arguments, I still have the feeling that the situation is a lot more complicated than seen now.
The sanctions the world is thinking of inflicting on Russia, will also affect its innocent people... you know...
If the SWIFT bank thing will pass (I doubt it, but just if Germany, Hungary and Italy approve it), it will also go heavy on all of Russia's innocent people, and on their possibility to perhaps buy Premium accounts on BGA.

So the problem is... complicated in my opinion, and it seems I am unable to NOT BE FIERY or borderline diplomatic, in such situations.
I do agree with the general aspect that "politics should be left out of BGA", but this situation is not a general one, IMO.
Also, I have no idea of the other wars you gave as examples, but i am sure that if they happened after BGA was created, there were voices then, as well.

The point is to increase the consequences of a nation declaring war, to make it maybe not do it in the future.
Banning from a gaming site is minor, but this and others thousands minor others thing can make a good difference on the moral of a nation.

BGA is a board game website open to all players; no matter what country, race, religion, gender, personal orientation, etc. We are not a political entity.

Of course every player is individually welcome to accept or reject games with others as they see fit. We ask that you remain respectful and kind when communicating in the chat, forums, and on other spaces on BGA.

Thank you all for helping to make this an international community where we can meet others, play and talk about games... after all, that is what connects us all.
