A mistake on the surface of language list

Post by odyssychen »

In the translation module, there is a mistake in the language picking list.

It should be:
Chinese (Simplified) - 中文(简体字
Chinese (Traditional) - 中文(繁體字)

But currently is:
Chinese (Simplified) - 中文(繁體字
Chinese (Traditional) - 中文(繁體字)

Actually, as a native speaker, I would suggest that the format using by Wikipedia is looked better. It is:
Chinese (Simplified) - 汉
Chinese (Traditional) - 漢

(The 汉 is the simplified character of "Chinese", and the 漢 is the traditional one)

Allright, thanks for the info!
I'll see about that in a future release.

Wish to be modified soon, as fresh translation contributors are confused and rehandling

Hi,

Sorry I am late with fixing this, lots of things piling up ;)
I made the change, it will get deployed with the next release.
I used
中文 (汉) for simplified Chinese and
中文 (漢) for traditional Chinese.

Hope this is alright, if not, please tell me!

Cheers,
Een
