"Let the player do most or all of the moves" is indeed in the BGA guidelines for tutorials, but I think this makes more sense for games that have a variety of game mechanics that the player needs to learn. In a game like Hex, where there are no game mechanics besides "place a stone", I think it would drive the tutorial taker crazy if the entire tutorial was a sequence of "now place a stone at f6. Now place a stone at e4. Now place a stone at c2". Instead, I think the appropriate thing to do for Hex is to let the player do the first move (so that they learn the mechanics of placing the stone, which also involves confirming the move), then go through an example game fairly quickly, pointing out some basics of what is going on in the game, and letting the player do the last move. This is what we have done in this proposed tutorial, and it is also how the existing Hex tutorial works.

It's great to see that so many tutorials are being developed, it's a nice way to learn the games.

Unfortunately many of them (For Sale, Mr Jack, Go Nuts...) are still in english even though they are fully translated in my language (french). Is it because the developper of the tutorial missed something? Should I do a bug report for every game with this issue, or is it something more general?

Just checked and tutorials for Mr Jack and Go Nuts for Donuts are correctly translated. But indeed For Sale isn't, that's something to check, thanks for reporting this.

Indeed there had been a generation issue at the time the For Sale tutorial strings had been translated. I have regenerated the translation files and the translation now works as intended.
