No way to recover bad green/red ratio

Let's face it. Only a small part of players gives green thumbs. But a far bigger part of players loves giving red thumb for nothing wrong except they have lost. So after many plays of Bang! (maybe players are more quick-tempered there?) I have my reputation stuck to 30% because of this spiteful red thumbs. Official reason is "For quitting games in progress", but I have left 4 games of the last 165!

Red thumbs should really not matter for reputation because they're never linked to rude behaviour

Yeah, that definitely are public red thumbs too, because the leaving penalties don‘t sum up to such a karma loss.
However, your other assumption is not true: Every player only can give 1 public red thumb (that can affect karma, if you get too many) for every 5 green thumbs he gave. Private red thumbs are unlimitted, but they don‘t affect karma.
It, however, still is true, that certain games can be more of a burden for the karma (for good reasons usually). I don‘t play BANG!, but for Hanabi it‘s a pretty similar situation. You can circumvent this somewhat by finding ways to play more with likeminded players and less with different approches.

I think public red thumbs shouldn't affect reputation, it feels like a bit of a loophole that can be exploited.
