I found this strange, and checked, and when using "Propose to rematch" we pass the table id of the table that is being rematched to rematch it with the same players and same configuration. So maybe some very old bug? In any case, I tried starting a turn based game, playing a realtime game, then finishing the turn based one and rematching worked as expected with the turn based configuration.thoun wrote: ↑09 March 2022, 18:35 There is a known bug that when you play again, it uses your last settings on lobby, instead of keeping the settings on the table you click restart.
Example :
You start a turn based game, simple mode
During this, you play a real-time arena
Your first games end, you try to play again/rematch
It will try to start it on real-time arena as it is your last lobby settings, even if you probably expect to start it with the settings used when you started that table.
There already is a report about this, I hope BGA admins will look at it somedays
(forget what I said if it's not exactly the same thing)
If that happened in the past, I don't think this issue is still current. There is even some code to prevent rematching from using arena mode, since the principle of the arena is that you cannot choose your opponents, so the scenario you described should definitely never happen.
"Play again" with manual mode is a different thing. In that case you create a brand new table, and we reuse the configuration of the last table you created recently (if available), as a helper for setting up the table. But it can never be an arena table.
