SHIFTING STONES : Shift happens!

Post by DrClick »

Image

Leave no stone unturned. Nine mystical tiles lie before you in a grid of rocky ruins. Rearrange the tiles to match one or more of the patterns in your hand. The catch is that you must sacrifice a card every time you swap or flip a tile. Carve out the most points and your victory is set in stone!

77 Cards, 9 tiles, 1-5 players for an average time of 20 mins.

What more do you need?

Let's dive into the rules a bit more:
- Discard any card to SWAP any adjacent stones.
- Discard any card to flip a stone.
- OR play a card to MATCH and SCORE it if the pattern is corresponding.

That's it. We told you.
It is as clever and simple as it sounds!
The game by J.Evan Raitt is beautiful in its minimalistic approach.
So there is no reason to pass on this game.

If you are a fan of solo games and puzzles, try out the solo-mode for a different game feel.

Thanks to the help from the GameWright team, and the development done by n_e_s_s_u_n_o, you will be able to enjoy this game right now on Board Game Arena!
Let us know what you think about it, and see you next week!

How can you play the game solo? What are the steps to creating and playing a solo game?

This game has been on here for a few weeks. I played it at least 2 weeks ago.

It was in beta.
Nearly all announced games will be in a widely available beta before their release, sometimes even for months.

I played a solo game of this today and it was really enjoyable. I didn't win but it was fun and the implementation is very nice. I look forward to playing with my friends too. Thank you BGA! :-)

So this goes for all the games I try to play solo. When I go to create a basic game it says
First, please choose some friend(s) to invite to play with you
And then I'm stuck.
So do I create a game with friends, remove them and then go?

Switch to manual table on training mode and it should not ask you that :)
