So far I have not seen a single post where a Russian player thanked for information that was shared about the war. All I have seen from them is on total insistence on their version of truth even from those who claim to be in solidarity with Ukraine. BGA is not a platform to share news, and if it is someone should be paid to do it, the process should be much more formalized rather than confined to message boards, but I don't think this a way to go. One thing to keep in mind is that Russian players can also use this platform to undermine the sanction actions against their government and nation by claiming that it's only affecting ordinary citizens not responsible for the war (despite their support for it). This is what many of them insisted on this thread as well. So far I have seen very little accountability on their part and no acceptance even of minimal level of collective responsibility.RicardoRix wrote: ↑21 March 2022, 14:12
Ukraine are going through unimaginable tough times at the moment. BGA is open to allow communications to Russians who may be influenced by their state media that otherwise paint a different picture. Russia is a democracy. The best way to stop the war would be if the Russian population speak out against the actions of their leaders.
Again the banning of the Russian flag on BGA should be the minimum. Again for Ukrainians, the flag is a sign of death and war, to support the flag on BGA is to support the war and death in Ukraine.
