Do you mean similar in mechanics? Similar in theme? Both? Neither?

Excuse me if I have expressed myself with my question unclear.
Not really in mechanic. I more mean similar in "Thema" , I guess.
Games whew you can build up civilizations, towns, buildings etc

With that interpretation in mind, another worker placement game that feels a little like civilization building is Tzolk'in. If you want to go a lot heavier, Nippon is another I'd check out.

Tapestry is a civ game without too much depth. Through the ages is the ultimate civ game but extremely heavy. Not many civ games are so luck driven like stone age though. It's rather unique, like yatzhee with a civ engine.

I would say, also 7Wonders falls into the category and maybe even Carcasonne. (But both games are mechanically totally different from Stone Age.)

I always say to people who search for new games to go through the list of most popular games on BGA and choose one that appeals to them. The most popular games are popular for a reason.

thanks to all who has answered
I think I will try a few of them games

Tzolk'in and Nippon ; both looks a bit complicated to play , but with interesting storys.

Tapestry looks a bit easier to play

Unfortunately none of them has german Gutorials and my Englisch knowledge in reading and understanding is not the best ... but I will try

Thanks a gain

I'd give Tzolk'in a try. Once you play through a few turns it's not as overwhelming as it seems at first. As for Nippon, I won't sugar coat that one.

There is a 'Building' tag on the game list page. Look there and you'll find some.
