Reporting players

I reported a player for a rules violation well over a month ago. After 2 weeks passed the report was still "open", so I added to it to ask when it would be dealt with. To this date, it is still "open" and no action has been taken at all. When can I expect my report to be dealt with because at the moment the fact that it hasn't been is putting me off using BGA at all.

Does this website even have any staff? At this point I'm more offended by the fact that my report, update, and forum post asking for action have been completely ignored than I am about the actual offense occuring in the first place. Worst customer service I've ever received.

I don't think that the staff is big enough to handle everything fast enough for you. I do know that bugs in the various games tends to fixed in a few days.
It's a little odd that this is keeping you from playing on BGA. You could just "red thumb" the player in question and never play him again. There is a lot of nice people here.

BTW This is free, so what do you expect?

@Thisisnotasmile: Same here.Yes I hate it too. I reported someone and I don't know why it's still open. Yes there are lot of nice people but also many of bad people. I don't like SABS group even more after I found out that some of them insulting me because I told them to play properly and some of them also uses multiple account. But no reply from the staff. Bad people should be punished!! Never play with bad people. I hope the staff should take this issue seriously.

I have red thumbed the player in question but I honestly don't see the point of a "report" function on the website if it's not going to be monitored. I'd much rather the feature were removed completely and there were no rules. At least then I know were I stand and I can expect to be called a cunt during a silly 5 minute game of chance.

The main reason I am upset that this hasn't been dealt with, however, is this (source):

when I process reports, I made priorities. The first priorities are insults and aggressive behavior, because these reports are easy to process (a simple look at the chat log), because there's no risk of mistake, and because banish an insulting player has an immediate and very positive effect on the pleasure for all of you.

This post was made 11 days after I made an "insult" report. If they are the first priority and easy to process, why has it not been done? Still?

Yes, this was the first time I encountered anyone this unsavoury on this website, and in all honesty I wasn't really offended by the things he said. I've been on the internet a long time and I'm used to trolls. I made the report, however, because what he did was strongly against the rules and if I had been anyone else he may have actually caused offense. Based on his reputation this was not an isolated incident and I made the report to stop other users of the site having to experience playing a game with this user. The fact that the report has not been dealt with means my time and effort I put in to making this website a more pleasurable place for users on the whole has been for nothing, and that's what offends me most.
