Why did I receive a Leave penalty?

I didn't leave but got a penalty? One player timed out, was ejected and when the pop up came up saying we could quit, I did. I got penalized? This is the first time that's happened to me.

Your leave most recent leave penalty is from an arena game you never showed up for.

So therefore it appeared to you after you left your next game, and you've confused the two of them together.
