Alright, let me add a proposal - if the defending player does not have a relevant card, the "reaction" to an Attack could be skipped by the system, or? Does save a bit of back-and-forth (without any action, having no card)...

Or do I remember the rules incorrectly and there is a way to react to an attack other than with a card?
And/or is this a preparation for any effects in an expansion? Do not remember if any special units/assets allow for reactions on an Attack...

You cannot react to attack.
Exception: if you have Ambush card. In the Online game you can (secretly) set Ambush card to active mode, in which case AI decides in which attack will be activated. Or you can - not set active mode of the card, in which case you activate it manually before the attack of your choice (but you've got to be quick).
Dont think that any expansion change this.

No, nothing else is in the work and this kind of greedy comments is not helping at all to make it happen. This topic is not about a early access to the game, it's about helping testing the game so please don't apply if your only goal is "I want to play the game ASAP!!!"

Would like to help test. Have two copies of pretty much everything for Memoir and three copies of a lot of it. Have played the DoW digital version a fair bit as well, and have long wished for a better digital version of Memoir.

If you aren't full up yet you can add
badinfo and Skeeter762 (so I have someone to test with )
