I agree with OP. It's made it so much harder to scan the games page. Massive step backwards.

Not a fan!!! just saw the new games page and it's horrible

• biggest reason I'd go to that page was to see the new games, beta games and most popular - not there anymore
• the option for 'small' tiles are still huge
• no 'list view' option
• tile format is hard to read and differentiate. the rectangle with the white bar through it with the game name in text in the middle looks god-awful and repetitive
• don't like the 'groupings' to show me options - family, party game, short game... etc... no, just no

I'm sure they care -- it's very nice looking. The problem is that it isn't practical/usable. Someone presented a beautiful looking UI and forgot about usability.

As far as reverting back, who knows. Seems like a revert back, cleanup, and redeploy would be nice.
Unfortuantly they have demonstrated over the last 18 months that they will do as they please and have no interest in feedback or requests. It will unfortuantly be here to stay

However I dislike the new way that the games are presented on the page, looking at it from a PC/laptop perspective. I now see fewer games in the same amount of screen place, which means I need more clicks and have to spend more time browsing through the games. I primarily look at the box covers of a game to identify them, as it takes me longer to recognize a game by looking at a zoomed in image of a laid out game with text covering parts of it. This is a step back in functionality and UX design in my opinion. It feels like it is made for mobile phone users, and I find it less annoying when I'm on my phone, but then please also allow the old lay-out when I’m accessing the website through other means.

Perhaps simply magnifying the box covers would've been sufficient, and more visually appealing, from both a PC/laptop and phone point of view.
I agree with this. this new layout is definitively not user friendly.
and in my opinion is not that pretty (but I guess this depend on everynody taste) but definitvely harder to look for new games and browse.

I don't normally use the forum, but today I came here just to see if other users felt the same way as me. From ux's point of view, the new interface is terrible, very confusing and user-unfriendly. I agree with almost everything that has been said. I hope it doesn't stay like this forever. Greetings from Germany.

This interface seems like a step backwards. The older version was much cleaner and easier on the eyes. The white stripe is very unappealing and the image of the cover art is way too small.

The old one was significantly better.

You can add the code below, to the advanced CSS coding page, to make it look a bit better, works only on PC/Laptop at the moment, but looks more like the old version.

---------------------

.bga-game-browser-carousel__item .absolute div:nth-child(2) {
background:revert!important;
background-color:#FFF!important;}

My look nice, but usability is near zero. I can now only look at 3 games at a time? I hate this Netflix type of interface. Hate it on Netflix and really hate it hear. Why would anyone choose a user interface where only about a 1/6 of the screen is being used to show what you want to see?

Please revert back to old format, new format makes it difficult to find new games and many games last on these left/right clicking lists will never get played as people will get sick of clicking.
