I'm happy to confirm that it works for me, currently.

I can log in normally (that is, without using private browsing or deactivating the adblocker).

Thank you very much guys

Nobody runs uBlock Origin or any other ad blocker? I'd have thought creating any kind of dependency on a dodgy ad/tracking site was just asking for trouble. (BGA would also be much quicker if you didn't make unnecessary calls to google and facebook.)

Dear ExpendableEnsign if you want to criticize (not requested by the way) please at least read everything. I mentioned that even when explicitly blocking the resource myself I couldn't reproduce the issue. We certainly cannot run every extension our users could use. Our browser would crash

This fix seems to be working for me. I am running adblock plus, if that helps.

Same here: working again, with AdBlock Plus enabled, on Chrome 100, macOS 10.15.7.

A friend of mine had the same problem yesterday using Opera. We could avoid it when switching "Tracker blockieren" (block trackers) in Preferences to "Off". Looks like google changes something on their pages (related to the support of login using google account on BGA?) that breaks many users who have any add blocker or tracking blocker active, even if they use an BGA-only account and not the "login via google account" feature.

It was reproducible before your workaround was implemented. The message already happend in private window before any login data was insered into the fields, meaning it is independent of the individual user accounts.

The fix also appears to be working for me. Firefox /Mozilla 5 with UBLock origin. Thank you support staff.

However, yesterday, I refreshed the browser and removed the adblocker, and it made things worse, as I could not log in. So the problem is not just with adblockers.
