single player

Is there a way to play this game with a bot? It shows 1 to 4 player, but I can only seem to start it with 1p and its just me and not a bot.

No, you cannot play with a bot on this site. 1 player denotes the single player variant which is also given in the official rule book. Just 1 player and nobody else involved...
