Premium membership question

My premium membership ends on May 15th. I understand it will be automatically renewed.

Is there any advantage to cancel now and rejoin when I want to later?

If I allow the membership to auto renew will there be a savings instead of cancelling and rejoining later?

Actually, it may be more expensive if you wait later. The cost of annual memberships was raised in January. People who have an auto-renewing account before the rate hike are grandfathered and get to keep the old rate. Its the news feed.... somewhere.
