It would be much easier to comprehend the situation if you would answer the direct questions I have about it. Additionally, it would help if when I use general terms you don't insist that it should be a specific term. If I mention a rectangle, replying that it is a square doesn't help. All squares are rectangles.

If the word "god" is not allowed in usernames, then neither should "g0d", because there are no circumstances in which "god" would be problematic but "g0d" would be fine. I hope that you can get through that one sentence without losing concentration.

Your statement "if... then" is true, but you are wrong in the premise "the word "god" is not allowed in usernames". So what follows behind the "then" doesn't even matter, when the statement behind the "if" is false.

As an admin commented earlier, the word/string "god" is not fully disallowed in usernames. It's just rejected by the filter. But there are cases of the use of "god" that would be acceptable to them. You just can't create your account with that name personally because of the filter. But they said if you write to support, you might get it through despite of the filter.

The fact that the text you get when trying to create such account is not accurately reflecting this possible "workaround" doesn't change their intention that the filter is in place to prevent *some* uses of "god" but not *every* potential use of it.

If the site states that "Sorry, because of our moderation policy your username cannot contain `god`.", then usernames cannot contain "god". If it allows the most trivial possible evasion of that rule, then it encourages rule-breaking, and insults everyone who follows the rules. As such, it does not deserve my custom, or anyone else's.

Yes, they tend to create text that does not reflect accurately what they actually meant. There are several examples for that - this is just one. One reason is probably that consistency is a difficult task, but I also think they focus more on other things.

You found out that the text is wrong. If that's a reason for you to not pay for the site, that's perfectly fine

We have a direct statement from an administrator stating that this is not accurate. A simple use of the "find a player" function on the community page shows that both "god" and "g0d", both with spaces immediately after, are currently allowed. There has been no evidence presented that a name containing "god" that would not be allowed after a moderator looked at it would be allowed, as you claim, simply by changing the "o" to a zero.
