How long does it usually take for the rights of a game to be posted?

Post by MiKelloggs »

I talked with a developer and they filled out the permission form or whatever they need to do to grant access to the game, but I haven't seen it pop up on the available licenses list. It has been about two weeks. I am just wondering how long that process usually takes.

I can't answer the question unfortunately but you're not limited by not having a license in the list. You still can implement a game if you 100% sure a publisher allows you to do that and when it will be ready for alpha - just follow the standard process which is requesting to move it to alpha via email to studio@boardgamearena.com

Actually I recommend not adding the game on the list if you are 100% determined to finish the game on yourself.
It lists games open to all developers.
As you see from the project list, there are plenty of games which are already published on BGA but listed as 'no license'.
