BGA user's page says "F**ckN*gggers" (without asterisks)

A user I played against apparently used to have a username of "F**ckNi***ers" (without the asterisks in there). I'm not sure if BGA made them change this, but now their page still has the word all over it. The offensive user name shows up all over the page as apparently they used this username undetected for a while

I find this extremely offensive and I can't believe BGA allows this. I reported it and nothing has happened. Just says the case is open. Will anything be done?

I agree that the former name of this player is not acceptable and should not be shown on the user's page. I also think BGA should solve this soon.

The Mod team replied and said "It says that because that was their username before we forced it to change because it was reported. It is awful, but it's part of the coding so if people change their username, old friends can still find them from their old username. It will go away in time."

Seriously?? At the very least delete their account and make them start over. To me, that's overly nice to someone that creates such a vile username to begin. They should be glad to not be banned from BGA altogether.

These players should create a New account at least. And the user Name check for insults should be extended.

This users renamed account and the one of his friend still exist. Momentarily it looks like the worry about "old friends can still find them" is more worthy than strictly erasing racism.

BGA, do you stick to your own standards and values?

This issue has been fixed by us... days ago.
