For me, as a Russian player, the main thing is to play, and with whom to play - it doesn’t matter at all. Someone talks about Russian propaganda, but he himself does not see his own propaganda brain, stuffed with what any non-Russian smi want to show him. People who do not know history and are trying to fight on their computer chairs cannot say anything at all.
The board game site is not related to Ukraine. It has nothing to do with Russia either. Let's do what we have to do, okay?
I am not going to remove my flag, otherwise everyone who lives in a country that bombed seven sovereign countries at the same time for eight years should do it. :|
Oh look, it's one of those poor Russian players who are definitely not behind Putin and would suffer so much from being banned from BGA.

Luckily, she can still play here and be educated, since she doesn't seem to be influenced by Russian propaganda at all.

Truly an example for many and a vindication of BGA's total inaction!

Since you said you don't care who you play with after all.
What's the problem? I don't hate any people. Why should I even talk to someone in the game about this topic if I came to play?
If you know Russian and Ukrainian history, then you don't have to go far to understand that both of these countries are full of fascism and nationalism. like the rest of the world, in general.
Don't be offended, I'm sure you have bigger problems than this :)

who said what I support and what not? maybe I even eat American and Ukrainian children for breakfast, or maybe I’m even in Donetsk and hiding from the military forces of Ukraine in the basement? or maybe I'm generally an American, pretending to be a Russian player, no one can know this and just decide their views for someone.
Otherwise, I can say that you support Ukrainian fascists haha

It's true that board games have nothing to do with the war in Ukraine. But neither does McDonalds cheeseburgers, IKEA furniture or Nike shoes. Why have these companies taken action? Because Russia is committing genocide in Ukraine. The Russian flag isn't even allowed in most sporting events, either. I don't see why BGA can't follow the same example?

And the fact that some Russians are making light of the situation by telling jokes is just despicable. I was against banning Russians in the beginning when this thread was first started. But now having seen the reactions from Russian players, I think it is something to seriously consider.

This is such hypocrisy on your part. The United States has been staging coups d'etat for many decades, invading other countries, killing people, let's ban your flag too? Or are people from Arab countries different from white Ukrainians? are they second class? What you are suggesting is called ethnic discrimination. How can you not understand that the abolitions and bans of everything Russian will not affect the current situation in any way, by doing this you only cause the anger of Russian society.

Hypocrisy? The war in Ukraine is genocidal and completely unprovoked. Russia has systematically raped, pillaged, abducted children, sent thousands of people to filtration camps while threatening everyone in the world with nuclear weapons and indiscriminately bombarding Ukrainian cities. Do you know what genocidal means? Russian has repeatedly stated what it wants eradicate Ukrainian state and Ukrainians as an identity and as people. Does this remind you of anything from 1939? This isn't "just some bombings of another country" as another Russian players said in this thread.

You are accusing me of ethnic discrimination while your country is committing ethnic annihilation? And on top of that you also accuse me of hypocrisy? Do you even know what hypocrisy means? You should really read what you type before you post it for everyone to see. Your whole response to what I wrote is hypocritical. And there is no defensive argument to be made on Russia's behalf. Your country is behaving like we are still in the medieval period. Russia has zero respect for human life and human rights.

Bortom line for me is that Russia is being run by a dictator Who is currently invading a free democracy, motivating it to its People by false claims on government controlled media. The whole world is appalled and the russian flag now is viewed by the world as incredibly disgraceful and offensive. Putin has destroyed Russias reputation for decades to come and the sad part is the russian population is so manipulated and isolated many don't even believ what "The other side" is reporting. That other side is basically the rest of the world, in this case, even Hitler had more Allies. Through out history a democracy has never attacker another democracy. I have no problems spotting the dictator in this conflict. The Russian flag should be banned as it is a disgrace and offensive but let the mislead population play, they are unaware of what is really happening. They can't help living in a dictatorship.

This is a dialogue between the blind and the deaf, you do not hear me, I do not understand you. It's useless.
