Kingmaking NEEDS addressing

Just played a game of Libertalia #* where one player (blue player) is CLEARLY using the cursor to show another player (black player) which card they are selecting and which they should select.

What's the point in 'thumbing down'? That isn't going to do anything. The perpetrator was almost laughing at me for complaining about it!

Come on BGA - you need to do better than this! It's about time we were able to report and then if a player receives too many reports of the same it should be investigated and maybe they are banned. It ruins games and ruins the community when players like this can totally get away with it.

I totally agree.

There are far too many cheats.

BGA needs to get to grips with this.

Anyone caught cheating should be banned.

1: no witch hunting. you are not allowed to say which user or anything related or else you get the banhammer.
2: kingmaking is allowed (since we can't report it) all you can do is give them a red thumb(which does nothing)

cheating is allowed, point farming is allowed, everything bad is allowed BUT if you point it out you get the warnings so keep it in mind.

If you say and do something right you get banned and if you do the opposite you get rewarded.

One can report people "Helping another player to win the game by playing as a team" or "using multiple accounts to boost ELO" already.

I don't know your definition of "kingmaking", but in IRL games, I sometimes have to play in a way which tends to king-make, just because it's my best (often negligible) chance to win an otherwise 100% lost game.
I think the issue here is more with the game (or the players).

On BGA, I can choose what I play, so I'll just avoid this kind of games, and focus on ones where I control what I do more than my opponents do (For Sale may be an exception).
And red-thumbing doesn't have no effect. It's not perfect, but prevents players from joining your games.

Yet, the only players I had to red-thumb so far were ones not playing games in dozens of tournaments they register to.
I don't think I encountered "cheaters", and wouldn't bother much with that

If you had tried your first suggestion, you‘d know that it‘s an useless option (which, btw, is the topic of the thread), as it just tells you to give them a red thumb. The 2nd option a) is not known to actually apply, b) usually is not sanctioned meaningfully even if reported with clear evidence, and c) can be hidden technically easily.

Unfortunately the situation on BGA is exactly as the other posters say. You can be lucky if you didnt get your experience screwed here by cheaters yet, but if you do someday, you can be sure that there is noone that will be of help.
