How are opponents found in arena mode? My friend and I clicked arena mode at the same time, but we got different people.

How are opponents found in arena mode? My friend and I clicked arena mode at the same time, but we got different people.

Practically speaking, there's really no such thing as the same time. [Especially if you are in frames of reference moving relative to each other. #physicshumor] One of the requests had to have reached the server first, even if by a millisecond. If there was already a game queued and waiting for one more player when the first request hit the server, then the second request would go to a different queued game. Part of the spirit of arena is that players don't get to pick and choose their opponents (yes, I know the spirit doesn't necessarily match the reality). However, for less popular games, there's less of a chance that there are already people waiting, and thus a greater chance that you two will end up on the same table.
